AUTHORS LUNCH Monday, June 30

Dear 1^st grade Parents and Family,

You are invited to celebrate your child’s hard work and accomplishments as a writer on Monday, June 30.  We will be holding an “Author’s Lunch” for the Yellow Class at 9:45 and the Blue Class at 1:45 in our classroom.

 At this event your child will be reading aloud a personal narrative that they have been working on throughout the whole bimester. We are excited to celebrate their work with you!

Please send your child with something nice to wear (a dress or a button down shirt), as this will be a more “formal” occasion. They should wear the appropriate uniform to school and will have time to change before the event.

In order to help make this a “lunch” we will need your help.  Please  click the comment button below and sign up for something to bring and share! We are in need of pizza, savory snacks, drinks and deserts.

Estimados Padres y Familias de 1º grado,

Están invitados a celebrar el gran trabajo de su  hijo(a) y sus logros como escritores el día lunes, 30 de junio.  Estaremos  llevando a cabo un “Lunch para el Autor” para el Grupo Amarillo a las 9:45 am y para el Grupo Azul a la 1:45 pm en nuestro salón.

 ¡En este evento su hijo(a) estará leyendo en voz alta una narración personal en la que ellos han estado trabajando a lo largo de todo el bimestre. Estamos muy emocionados de celebrar su trabajo con ustedes!

 Favor de mandar a su hijo(a) vestido(a) con algo bonito, ya que es una ocasión más “formal”. Deberán usar el uniforme que corresponda a ese día y tendrán tiempo de cambiarse antes del evento.
